Achievement Collector is an app that brings together your gaming achievements from Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, GOG, Epic Games and RetroAchievements in one place. Connect the platforms you play on and see your full collection, completion stats and game library without switching between apps.

Yes. Achievement Collector is free. Connecting your platforms and tracking your achievements costs nothing. The app is still in development and not yet available in the app stores.

I’ve been working on Achievement Collector for several years now. The first line of code dates back to spring 2022. I started the project for myself, because I wanted to see my achievements from different platforms in one place. I’ve been using the app ever since, and a few friends now do too. By now it’s ready enough that I can release it soon.

The app wasn’t made by “vibe coding.” I programmed it by hand over years, long before I used any AI at all. I only started using it recently, and only as a help: every feature and every line of code I wrote myself or checked myself.

This website, on the other hand, I built with the help of AI.

Open Settings > Account for the platform you want to remove, then tap Remove account. This disconnects the platform and stops syncing its games and achievements. You can reconnect at any time using the same steps described in this FAQ.

Background sync keeps your games and achievement progress up to date automatically, without having to open the app. You can choose how often it runs in Settings > Background sync: every 3, 6 or 12 hours, daily, or weekly.

If you enable achievement notifications as well, you’ll get a notification whenever a sync finds achievements you unlocked since the last check. On iOS and Android alike, background sync is scheduled by the operating system rather than run on a strict timer, so the interval you pick is a minimum, not a guarantee. A sync may happen a bit later, especially on iOS. On Android it also requires a Wi-Fi connection and reasonable battery level to run.

You can connect Steam in two ways:

1. Login via Steam — tap “Login via Steam” and sign in through Steam’s own login page inside the app. Your Steam ID and Web API key are captured automatically.
2. Enter manually — tap “Enter manually” and enter your Steam ID (find it, or resolve it from your custom “vanity URL”, using the lookup tool linked on the connect screen) and a Steam Web API key, which you generate yourself at steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey.

Important: your Steam profile privacy settings for “My Profile”, “Game Details” and total playtime must be set to Public, otherwise Achievement Collector cannot read your games and achievements. Generating a Web API key requires the Steam Mobile Authenticator to be enabled on your account. If you also want friend-related features, your friends list needs to be set to Public as well.

You can also connect Steam after onboarding, from Connect Steam in Settings, which opens the same sign-in flow.

Tap “Login via PlayStation” and sign in with your PlayStation Network account through Sony’s own login page inside the app. Achievement Collector securely captures the required session token automatically, and your games and trophies then appear in the app.

You can also connect PlayStation after onboarding, from Connect PlayStation in Settings. If your session expires, Settings shows a message asking you to log in again; simply repeat the same login step to reconnect.

Tap “Login via Xbox” and sign in with your Microsoft account through Microsoft’s own login page inside the app. Achievement Collector handles the required authorization automatically. There is no manual token entry.

You can also connect Xbox after onboarding, from Connect Xbox in Settings. If your session expires, reconnect the same way from there.

Tap “Login via Good Old Games” and sign in through GOG’s own login page inside the app. Achievement Collector captures the required authorization automatically. There is no manual setup step.

You can also connect GOG after onboarding, from Connect Good Old Games in Settings. If your session expires, reconnect the same way from there.

Tap “Login via Epic Games” and sign in through Epic’s own login page inside the app. On the login page, enable “Remember me in games and apps that use Epic Games to sign in”, otherwise the login won’t work in the app. Achievement Collector then captures the required authorization automatically.

You can also connect Epic Games after onboarding, from Connect Epic Games in Settings. If your session expires, reconnect the same way from there.

You can connect RetroAchievements in two ways:

1. Login via RetroAchievements — tap “Login via RetroAchievements” and sign in through the RetroAchievements website inside the app. Your username and Web API key are picked up automatically from your account settings.
2. Enter manually — tap “Enter manually” and enter your RetroAchievements username and your Web API key, which you can generate on the RetroAchievements website under your account settings.

Either way, you need an existing RetroAchievements.org account before connecting. You can also connect RetroAchievements after onboarding, from Connect RetroAchievements in Settings.
